We will respond to such requests to information access within 30 days following receipt at the email or mailing address stated above. If we receive your request at a different email or mailing address, we will respond within a reasonable period of time, but not to exceed 150 days from the date received. Please note that we are only required to respond to each customer once per calendar year.
We treat the data of everyone who comes to our site in accordance with this privacy policy, whatever their Do Not Track setting.
Information Collection
We gather personal information needed to provide requested products or services, communicate offers on products and services that we believe will be of interest to the recipient and to administer our business. teleCalm collects personal information when you register with teleCalmProtects.com for a teleCalmProtects.com client account, when you use certain teleCalm products or services, when you register to participate in an online survey, when you ask to be included in an email or other mailing list, or when you submit your personal information to teleCalmProtects.com for any other reason.
When you use teleCalm services such as a mobile or web app, you may be asked to enter information such as your own contact information for example a phone number, contact information for yourself or others, and/or audio content such as personalized voice messages. While using a teleCalm app or voice services, teleCalm may collect additional identifiers and information about your use of teleCalm services. This data may include elements such as device identifiers, phone numbers, location, calling history, crash logs, usage data and diagnostics data. This data is collected for purposes including teleCalm service setup, authentication, account management, or service functionality and providing data to improve teleCalm services.
From time to time, teleCalm may receive personal information from commercial vendors and partners as part of an email list purchase. teleCalm only uses such information if it has been collected in accordance with acceptable privacy practices consistent with this Policy and applicable laws.
Providing Us with Personal Information of Third Parties
Some parts of teleCalm service are intended for users who are assisted by caregivers, and some parts are intended for caregivers who have the right to access personal information and provide such assistance. Hence, teleCalm may collect information related to a user’s service usage and share that information with a caregiver.
If you provide us with the personal information of another person such as your parent, child, spouse or dependent, or direct us to share that person’s information with another person such as your sibling, you represent and warrant to teleCalm that you either (1) have full legal authority to provide such information or instructions (e.g., through power of attorney or guardianship of an elderly parent, or parental authority over a minor child), or (2) have obtained such person’s express and informed authorization to provide such information or instructions. Furthermore, when obtaining any such authorization, you must first provide him or her with a copy of this privacy policy and explain how his or her personal information will be used pursuant to this privacy policy. We may share your text messages and associated phone numbers with those within our organization who are most capable of addressing related issues. We may archive your message for a certain period of time or discard it, but your phone number and message content will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.
If you would no longer like to receive such messages from us, please reply by texting STOP to any such message. We will remove your phone number from the list of subscribed users. However, please understand that if you reply STOP to a text message from teleCalm, you will no longer receive relevant service updates via SMS. If you have unsubscribed by replying STOP, note that you can opt back in by replying START.
